Invisalign is a very modern technology that moves your teeth according to a prescription designed by Dr. Scalia uniquely for your smile. A series of removable transparent aligners will be prepared for you that allow you to smile without braces!
Each tooth movement is planned with extreme precision using very advanced computerized three-dimensional technology.

The steps for Invisalign treatment are:
- A consultation appointment with Dr. Scalia using pictures and videos to discuss your goals and explain the treatment
- A 3D scan of your teeth to record and measure your teeth and bite
- Scalia prepares your prescription for Invisalign according to your specific needs
- Once your Invisalign aligners arrive 2-4 weeks later, we will schedule your appointment to begin
- You will wear each aligner for approximately 10 days without removing them unless you eat, drink, or brush your teeth
- The length of treatment depends on your specific treatment needs and goals

Invisalign is an innovative treatment system similar to braces but with some very different features. Invisalign uses clear aligners that fit snugly over your teeth and gently move them like traditional braces but without the brackets and wires. Your treatment process will begin by scheduling a consultation with the orthodontist to see if you are a viable candidate for Invisalign.
If Invisalign is deemed appropriate for you, we will use the latest 3D graphics technology to plan out your treatment progression. The orthodontist will then send the information over to Invisalign’s facility, where they will fabricate a series of aligners that will fit your teeth precisely and move your teeth incrementally.
Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and should only be taken out to eat, brush, and floss. As you transition between aligners, the orthodontist will track your progress to make sure that treatment is going as planned. Once your final aligner is given to you, your teeth will be in their correct alignment, the result being the happy, healthy smile that you, the orthodontist, and his team have been striving to achieve.
