Upper Front Teeth Protrusion
This type of bite impacts the function and appearance of your teeth. An upper front teeth protrusion means that your front teeth either extend too far forward or your lower teeth don’t extend far enough.
Overbite
An overbite is when the upper front teeth extend out over the lower front teeth. This can cause your lower front teeth to bite into the roof of your mouth.
Crossbite
This is when the upper teeth sit inside the lower teeth. This can cause misaligned jaw growth and tooth stratification.

Openbite
An openbite is when the upper and lower teeth don’t overlap. This type of bite can impact proper chewing and cause a number of other unwanted habits, such as tongue thrusting.
Crowding
When teeth don’t have enough room to erupt from the gums, this will cause crowding. Crowding can be fixed through expansion, which can make tooth extraction unnecessary.
Spacing
Spacing is essentially the opposite of crowding. This is when there are sizable gaps between your teeth. Spacing problems can either be a minor cosmetic issue or it may be caused by missing teeth.
Unmatched Dental Midlines
This is caused when the back bite doesn’t match and fit appropriately. This can harm the jaw and proper dental function.
